Specifically, the AJGA will recognize the winners of the Boys and Girls 16-17 age divisions, 7B & 7G respectively, by awarding each winner one tournament exemption. It is important to realize that one tournament exemption does not guarantee a junior golfer entry into an AJGA event, but instead helps a junior golfer by building a status under the AJGA’s PBE system. For more information about PBE juniors can log on to ajga.org or call our Player Services Department at 800-373- 2542. You can also click here to view our AJGA information page. We feel that including the COUNTRY Youth Classic in our PBE system benefits both organizations. It benefits the AJGA by helping us recognize and provide opportunities to junior golfers who might not have yet had the opportunity to play in an AJGA event and possibly receive a college golf scholarship. Through this recognition it is our hope that your event will attract an even larger and potentially stronger field to compete against the nation’s best junior golfers. Congratulations on being included in our system for 2006; we look forward to working with all the people who make the COUNTRY Youth Classic a success. Best Regards, Lee Pinchouck VP / Midwest Regional Director The COUNTRY Youth Classic Steering Committee appreciates the support of COUNTRY Insurance & Financial Services (Title Sponsor), the Bloomington-Normal Area Sports Commission and Bloomington-Normal Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (Hosting Organizations) and the other Bloomington-Normal businesses who have helped make this event possible.
